Erkennen einer Unternehmenskrise – Warnsignale im mittelständischen Unternehmen

Eine Krise in einem mittelständischen Unternehmen durchläuft mehrere Stadien, bis sie so stark ausgeprägt ist, dass man aufgrund der Liquiditätsprobleme den Gang in die Insolvenz antreten muss.
 
 
Nicht jeder Gang in die Insolvenz ist vermeidbar. Jedoch liegen in den meisten Fällen die Warnzeichen auf der Hand, so dass mit geeigneten Gegenmaßnahmen diese Entwicklung hätte vermieden werden können.
 
Mittelständische kleinere Unternehmen können sich  keine Controllingabteilungen und ausgefeilte Systeme der Unternehmenssteuerung leisten und werden daher rechtschnell überrascht.
 
Dennoch wäre bei Beachtung einiger Warnzeichenvieles vermeidbar gewesen. Ich liste im Folgenden mal fünf Warnzeichen bzw.Checkpunkte für Sie auf. Bitte beachten Sie, dass diese nicht ansatzweise den Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit erheben können und auch keine Gewichtung enthalten.
 
 
 
Folgendes sollte Sie misstrauisch machen /aktiv werden lassen:
 
1- Liegteine konjunkturelle Delle vor oder ein grundsätzliches Problem? Sie sollten hierbei kritisch hinterfragen, ob die schlechten Umsatz- und Ertragszahlenwirklich mit der schlechten Konjunktur oder Branchenentwicklung erklärbar sind. Und selbst wenn, so ist stets beobachtbar, dass einige Unternehmen geradezu unversehrt aus der Krise herauskommen während andere den Gang in die Insolvenzantreten. Erste haben sich meist nicht mit der Begründung der allgemeinen Krise zufrieden gegeben!
 
2- Wo wurde und wo wird in Zukunft Geld verdient? Viele  Unternehmen, welche mehr als 1 oder 2 Produkte oder Services anbieten unterliegen oftmals einem bösen Trugschluss in ihrer Wahrnehmung, welches Produkt schwarze Zahlen liefert, welches Verlustbringer ist.
 
3- Interessant sind auch die  im Laufe der Zeit immer weiter auseinanderdriftenden Zahlungsziele. Während sich Kunden längere Zahlungsziele „erlauben“, drängen –gerade in schwierigen Zeiten - Lieferanten auf rasche Bezahlung. Diese Schere zu schließen erfordert einiges an Technik und Geschick. Es nicht zu tun kann kaum ein kleineres Unternehmen /Einzelunternehmen verkraften
 
4- Einzelunternehmen/kleinere Unternehmen haben den Nachteil, im Rechnungswesen nicht aus dem Vollen zu schöpfen. Selbst ein im kaufmännischen Bereich geschulter Geschäftsführer, Eigentümer etc. bekommt einfach nicht das notwendige „Frühwarnsystem“. Eine ausgelagerte Buchhaltung an den Steuerberater oder die Buchhaltung am Wochenende selber zu haus und schon fehlt die detaillierte Ergebnis-und Liquiditätsplanung
 
5- Schließlichund bei weitem nicht abschließend die spannende Frage der Finanzierung. Viele Güter, Rohstoffe, Materialien sind aus Bequemlichkeit (auch der Hausbank!) via Kontokorrent finanziert. Dann kommt noch ein umfangreiches Leasing hinzu und schoni st die Kapitalstruktur überreizt und lässt ein Unternehmen bei der ersten Krise regelrecht abstürzen.
 
Fazit ist, dass eine Vielzahl von Fragenrechtzeitig zu stellen sind und diese auch ehrlich zu bearbeiten sind. Leider herrscht oft der Grundsatz vor, dass bisher alles gut gegangen ist und man auch jetzt nicht zu schwarz sehen dürfte. Diese ist nicht immer  ein angemessenes Verhalten.
